SMP ELECTRONICS specialise in the design and manufacturing of SAMALITE professional rechargeable lighting products and are carefully manufactured to the highest standards to ensure the reliability and durability our customers require. This is why we offer a 3-year warranty extendable to 5 years that covers all defects in manufacturing on all SAMALITE products.

WARRANTY PERIODS

From 1^st October 2023, all SAMALITE products now have a 3-year standard warranty on all manufacturing defects and 1-year warranty on all rechargeable batteries from the date of purchase.

EXTENDED TO 5 YEAR WARRANTY

From 1^st October 2023, customers also have the option to extend the warranty of the product to 5 years on all manufacturing defects and a 2-year warranty on all rechargeable batteries from the date of purchase. Registration of the product must be made within 6 weeks of purchase by filling in and submitting our Extended Warranty Registration Form.

You will then receive a copy of your form as a proof of your Extended to 5 year Warranty. The Extended Warranty is FREE of charge.

CONDITIONS OF WARRANTY

The product must be within the warranty period and meets the warranty criteria
You have proof of purchase after 1^st October 2023
The products Anti Tamper Warranty Seal has not been broken or removed
You are the original owner of the product
For the 5 Year Extended warranty, you must have registered the product with SMP ELECTRONICS within 6 weeks of purchase.

All rechargeable batteries up to 2 years
Accessories & Chargers up to 2 years

WHAT IS NOT COVERED

General wear and tear
Damage caused by improper or unreasonable use
Damage through lack of maintenance
Colouring or disfiguring the product in any way
Alterations and Modifications to the product
The delivery cost of postage/shipping to SMP ELECTRONICS for repair or replacement

HOW TO CLAIM WARRANTY

If your product meets the warranty criteria above, please contact us a.s.a.p. on 01276 855166 for advice on sending your item directly to SMP ELECTRONICS.

To claim extended warranty, please fill out and submit the Extended Warranty Registration Form.

SMP ELECTRONICS aim to turnaround all warranty claims within 7-10 working days from receipt of item…

MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR SERVICE

If your product does not meet with any of our warranty criteria’s, we do offer a full maintenance and repair service for suitable products. To request this, please call us on 01276 855166

Our technician will be in touch to discuss possible solutions to try over the phone, but would require the product and charger present during a phone call. Failing this, the complete lighting unit with charger must all be returned to us for evaluation. Inspections are free of charge, however if the estimate is not accepted or the item is beyond economical repair, the customer has a choice of paying the delivery cost for the returned damaged item or our company can dispose of it.

Please note: All goods purchased prior to 1^st October 2023 have a 1 year warranty
